The SelectMinds management team brings a unique combination of enterprise software, human resource management, Web 2.0, consumer applications and consulting expertise to the organization.
Anne Berkowitch – Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
Since the inception of SelectMinds in 2000, Anne Berkowitch has played a key role in the development of SelectMinds' client relationships and the evolution of the company into a leading provider of Corporate Social Networking solutions and services.
Previously, Anne was a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton, working primarily with service businesses out of both the New York and London offices. While at the firm, she was also very active in the recruitment and development of senior staff and went on to start her own boutique executive search firm specializing in placement of senior consultants, before co-founding SelectMinds. Anne has an MBA in finance from MIT's Sloan School of Management and a BSC in Applied Math and Biology from Brown University.
Jack McClunn – Chief Financial Officer
As SelectMinds CFO, Jack brings significant executive leadership, and 20 years of accounting, finance and operations experience to the SelectMinds executive team.
Prior to SelectMinds, Jack served as CFO of SpaFinder, a 360-degree media company dedicated to connecting people and providers in the global well-being marketplace. While there, he saw the company through revenue growth of over 700 percent, strategic acquisitions, and SpaFinder’s international expansion into Europe and Japan.
Jack also served as founder and the director of finance of ePresence, Inc., a technology consulting and software development firm. During his eight years at ePresence, he oversaw all financial operations, helping to grow the business and see it through a successful acquisition by Banyan Systems. Jack then served as vice president of finance of the web solutions business unit of the consolidated and NASDAQ listed company for several years.
Jack is a licensed CPA, serves on the Boards of several companies and charitable organizations, and is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He received his B.S degree from La Salle University, an M.A degree from Monmouth University, and has attended Harvard Business School Executive Education programs. He is also a member of the accounting faculty at the University of Phoenix where he teaches managerial accounting.
Joseph O’Connell – Vice President, Technology
As vice president of technology, Joe is responsible for the research and development of SelectMinds’ solutions and oversees the company’s technical operations. For the past six years, Joe has been the driving force behind the development and evolution of SelectMinds as a provider of alumni network solutions to a leader in global, corporate talent communities built on our world-class software as a service technology platform.
Prior to joining SelectMinds, Joe was a co-founder and architect at Inertia Beverage Group, where he developed the infrastructure and applications for the company’s Java-based direct sales platform geared for the Wine and Spirits Industry.
Joe is a graduate of Colby College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
