Job Duties
- Understand the industry and competitive landscape; gain insight into prospect’s business processes and develop value-added business solutions including ROI analysis
- Develop a business plan/territory plan for the assigned geography
- Work with Marketing to generate leads and call on the Global 2000
- Prospect, cold call and develop other strategies for account education and penetration
- Manage contract negotiations and close new business
Requirements
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven track record of selling software/technology solutions into the large enterprise.
- SaaS experience preferred
- Prefer experience selling to Marketing and/or HR executives
- Major account management experience
- Demonstrated success working with VP and CXO level
- Polished communications and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and disciplined
- Ability to thrive in a team oriented work environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and Salesforce.com
Education and Experience
BA or BS degree required. Minimum eight years of successful business tobusinesssoftware sales experience as a quota bearing salesperson. Prefer experience selling solutions to Marketing and/or HR executives.
