The world still wants to know how powerful their influence is and what it should mean in the recruiting process. This morning on ERE, John Sullivan is back asking whether or not one’s Klout score should have an impact on his/her job prospects.
Back in October, we wrote about the paradox most hiring managers and job seekers alike face when they try to put a valuation on any one portion of their social recruiting strategies. We all know that a resume posted on LinkedIn is a way to get a snapshot into a potential candidate, but could it be just as feasible to find the measure of your recruit by gazing at the digit given to us by Klout?
We think the jury’s still out, but we’re interested in seeing where our readers land on this. So we’re leaving it to you to decide. Should someone’s Klout score be part of the hiring process? Let us know what you think.
